Kenya Connection works with a variety of ministries both locally and internationally to support education, empowerment, and discipleship ministries in Kenya.
Akiba School is a primary and junior secondary school offering opportunity and hope to children of Kangemi, Kawangware and surrounding areas. Akiba provides a quality Christian education and offers a science lab, music lessons, French, Swahili classes, and more. Kenya Connection has supported development at Akiba School, scholarships for students, community outreach, and support programs for teachers and parents.
Africa Youth Leadership Forum mobilizes and trains university student leaders and coordinates mentorship programs with cultural, political, and business leaders. Kenya Connection works with AYLF mentors and has supported AYLF leadership training initiatives.
C.S. Lewis Institute is a discipleship and apologetics ministry aimed at equipping followers of Jesus Christ to grow in their faith and more effectively live out their callings. Kenya Connection works closely with CSLI to support their technology, communications, and content development in Africa.
Kenya Connection works with the youth department in the Anglican Diocese of Maseno West to support missions, discipleship, and youth development. This has included support for youth retreats and conferences, youth missions, and music ministry.
Christ Church is a family church located in the Westlands area of Nairobi, Kenya. It aims to grow every member into a personal experience of God through Jesus Christ. Kenya Connection has been actively involved in youth ministry with Christ Church.
Inspiring Hope Group (IHG) is an affiliation of young Christians, committed to changing lives through small group savings and business development, community outreach, education, fellowship, and spiritual formation. Kenya Connection has helped to support the development of this group and its members serve as mentors with Kenya Connection.
Inspiring Hope Academy is a primary school in Kilifi, Kenya that began through community outreach and missions. With a strong team of teachers and community workers, Inspiring Hope Academy aims to offer quality Christian education and a brighter future to children and youth in need. Kenya Connection is founding partner of Inspiring Hope Academy and our ministry team works closely with the school.
Inspiring Hope Photography was founded to inspire hope through artistic photojournalism and creative story-telling. iHope trains and mentors young photographers, filmmakers, and web developers who use their talents in documentary, website production, and more. Kenya Connection has supported training and equipping of iHope and works closely with their team, sharing office space in Nairobi.
Light and Power served the community of Gatina, Kawangware for many years through educational sponsorships and scholarships, mentorship and leadership development, sports, and job creation through the manufacturing of handcrafted gift bags. Kenya Connection has supported youth development and outreach initiatives through Light and Power and continues to work with many Light and Power alumni.
New Beginnings is a six month discipleship, missions, and skills training program for recent high school and college graduates. Participants learn and grow in community and engage in mission and service projects while gaining technical, job, and life skills. Kenya Connection supports 6 to 12 graduates every year through New Beginnings.
RightNow Media offers the world’s largest customizable library of biblical video resources, designed to help individuals and communities grow in their experience and love of God and others. Kenya Connection works with RightNow Media to develop and use discipleship tools and resources in Eastern Africa.
SAMS is a missionary sending community that engages in dynamic relationships with the church worldwide, experiencing the broken restored, the wounded healed, the hungry fed, and the lost found through the love and power of Jesus Christ. Kenya Connection works closely with SAMS and its founders, Dave and Lucy Chaves, are SAMS missionaries.
