Treasurer’s Message

Kenya Connection was officially registered as a 501c3 charitable organization in 2016 and completed its first fiscal year in 2017. The organization has established a strong financial base with minimal fundraising footprint and support coming primarily from individual donors and churches. Kenya Connection relies on a volunteer Board of Directors and volunteer Executive Staff. The vast majority of funding goes directly to local programs and partners in Kenya.

During Fiscal Year 2023, ninety-seven percent of all expenses went directly to ministries in Kenya. This included funding of sponsorship and scholarship programs, community development and education initiatives, and youth mission and discipleship programs. We look forward to continuing to grow our support base and expand the impact of Kenya Connection in the years to come.
